What's up dog?

Athena has had such a huge impact on myself and my partner but also my wider family. My family have never been dog people but to be honest, Athena is hard not to love and my parents are absolutely obsessed with her. We will take her around to my parents house and dad has œher blanky out and on the couch ready for snuggles.
The impact she has made on mine and my partners relationship is insane. We have been together for 14 years but since having Athena we feel closer than ever. She brings a joy to our lives we never thought possible with a dog. She encourages us to go on adventures (and bring her along of course) and we have experienced so many different places in New Zealand that we probably wouldnt have without her. Shes so hard not to love - shes goofy, energetic, super smart and is always down for a pat.

Every dog that enters is eligible for the 2024 People's Choice Award. The winner of the 2024 NZ People's Choice will be decided by you, the people!


This year, we wanted to give the aroha back to our communities.


Every year, our campaign is supported and celebrated by a variety of incredible charities across Aotearoa, all of whom mahi tirelessly to make a positive impact for dogs in their respected communities.


This year, the winner of the 2024 People Choice's Award will have the value of their doggy prize pack matched and donated to a charity of their choosing.


In addition, every voter will have the opportunity to donate towards one of the 3 incredbile mental health charities or dog organisations.
